Log a competition

One competition for one athlete per save. Pick the competition from the list if it's already here, so everyone at the same comp lines up head to head.

Upload a CSV

Add lots of results at once from a spreadsheet. Use the same columns as Download all results in the archive: one row per event, with the comp details repeated on each row. Comps already on the site (same athlete, comp and date) are skipped, so nothing is overwritten.

Columns: athlete, comp, date (YYYY-MM-DD), venue, division, weightClass, overallPlace, event, eventType, kg, reps, timeSec, distM, eventPlace, eventNote, toConfirm, notes. Athlete, comp, date and event are required. eventType is log, axle, press, deadlift, stone, yoke, farmers, carry, sandbag, hold or pull (or the names shown on the site); anything else counts as other. Uses the team passcode from Add results.

How it works

Points, records and adding results

Points

Each comp scores on the overall placing in the athlete's own division: 1st 10 points, 2nd 7, 3rd 5, 4th 3, any other finish 1. Every event win adds 2. Season and career tables add these up.

Event types and best lifts

Each event is tagged with a type (log, axle, deadlift, stones and so on) so different comps can be compared. A best lift is the heaviest completed weight: medleys and rep events count the heaviest implement used, and an attempt with no reps doesn't count. Compare like with like: a 1-rep max and a reps-for-time event are not the same test.

Results marked "to confirm"

Some early results were recorded briefly. Where a result is a best guess, it carries a "to confirm" tag until the athlete checks it and edits the entry.

Adding and fixing results

Anyone with the team passcode can add a comp from the Add results section, or fix one with Edit in the athlete's profile. Use Download all results in the archive to keep your own copy. Use the same competition name as an existing entry so athletes at the same comp line up.
